The conditions proved a little tougher for the second section resulting in the leaders Concepta Maddick & Gerry Rock of Seapoint  retaining their first place position, while second went to Margaret & Michael  Conneely (Trim) (on 2^nd 18) +12. Best Gross went to Kathleen Geraghty (Skryne) & Ian Farrelly (Bellewestown). +6 (on back 18), The first 18 was won by Ann Ward & Pat Greene (Seapoint) +10 while the second 18 went to  Marie & Brendan Lawlor (Channonrock) +8
