The Rankings are calculated on the basis of performance in
National, Provincial and County/Regional Board Senior Matchplay and
Strokeplay over a three year period. The 2009 Ranking Lists will be based on
performances in these events in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Points earned in 2009
are counted at full value, those earned in 2007 are reduced to 50% and those
earned in 2008 are reduced to 75%, the reductions are made at the start of
the season. If a tie on points occurs, the following criteria will be used:

Total points earned in National Championships (2009, 2008, 2007)
·
Total points earned in Provincial Championships (2009, 2008, 2007)
· Total points earned in
County/Regional Championships (2009, 2008, 2007)
If a tie remains unresolved the players share the position.
