The handicap system has reopened for the 2017 season with a number of new features and changes based on the outcome of the recent annual convention. The major changes are:
There have also been some improvements to the tools available for entering strokeplay events, you no longer need to pick the date of each return where your competition runs over a single day and you will be asked to review the overall state of the competition before closing it from now on, this is to reduce errors in data entry and to increase the accuracy of competition returns.
Further information on returning team events and matchplay competitions has been added to the Frequently Asked Questions page, you can access it from the menu at the top of this screen by clicking on the link.
Please forward all queries to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
We have added a Frequently Asked Questions section to the system, you can access it from the menu at the top of this screen by clicking on the link. We plan to grow this list over time as more users begin to give us feedback on the system and the common problems they encounter.
We have put our Tutorial Videos section live, you can access it from the menu at the top of this screen by clicking on the link or from with the system menu after you have logged into the PPUI Handicap System. When logged in, click on your username in the top right hand corner of the screen to access the System Menu and find the Tutorial Videos.
Separate competitions should NOT be generated for Ladies and Gents, for handicapping purposes only one competition should be created and all players entered into that single event. Prizes and leaderboards are separate to the handicap system and remain the responsibility of the organising committee and separate Ladies and Gents competitions can be run for those purposes in reality.
If you have already created separate competitions for Ladies and Gents, please delete and recreate them as single competitions.
