Handicap System News - 12/03/2018

The handicap system has reopened for the 2018 season with a number of new features and changes based on the outcome of the recent annual convention. The major changes are:

• Maximum playing handicaps are now in place in both grades, Gents cannot have a playing handicap lower than -16 while Ladies cannot have a playing handicap below -21.
• Shots back are now limited to -0.1 per competition, players will no longer receive accelerated cuts of -0.2 and -0.5 for performances 10 shots above the buffer.

Help & Support

We have added a Frequently Asked Questions section to the system, you can access it from the menu at the top of this screen by clicking on the link. We plan to grow this list over time as more users begin to give us feedback on the system and the common problems they encounter.

We have put our Tutorial Videos section live, you can access it from the menu at the top of this screen by clicking on the link or from with the system menu after you have logged into the PPUI Handicap System. When logged in, click on your username in the top right hand corner of the screen to access the System Menu and find the Tutorial Videos.

Important Notice

Ladies and Gents events should be created separately and should use separate courses with the appropriate SSS of 47 for Gents courses and 51 for Ladies courses.

If you have already created separate competitions for Ladies and Gents, please delete and recreate them as single competitions.
